Perovskite materials have strong stopping power to ionization radiation, large mobility-lifetime product, low noise, making them excellent candidate for X-ray detection. The perovskite radiation detectors have much higher sensitivity, making X-ray imaging safer. The direct conversion mechanism allows shaper X-Ray images.
Efficient and Low Cost
Perovskite solar cells are already as efficient as best single crystal silicon solar cells. The films and crystal fabrication can be easily scaled up by low-temperature solution process at a high throughput. The raw materials are low-cost. The crystal growth is much cheaper
Flexible and Portable
The perovskite materials in the thin film form are flexible, and then can be integrated into flexible devices. Removing glass substrates make perovskite devices flexible and robust. These light weight devices are portable.
